Antony Cox

Antony founded ProTech in 1997, following an early career as a technician building and developing electronic prototypes for Thorn EMI. His hands-on engineering background, combined with over 30 years experience in specialist STEM recruitment, has given him a deep and practical understanding of both technology and talent.

While no longer involved in the day-to-day running of the business, Antony remains a key part of ProTech. He is the go-to person for anything technical, working behind the scenes to ensure systems run smoothly, spotting (and fixing) both system and human errors, and helping to maintain efficient and effective back-office systems.

His knowledge extends well beyond recruitment, with a genuine interest and expertise in all things tech, making him an invaluable sounding board and support to the wider team.

Outside of work, Antony is a keen motorcyclist and volunteers as a National Observer for IAM RoadSmart, where he provides coaching for advanced motorcycling qualifications.
