Jacob Trigg

Jacob joined ProTech in 2016 straight from school and has grown with the business into a pivotal role across finance and operations. Starting out in an administrative position, he was initially responsible for supporting the team with tasks such as CV formatting and database management, long before the systems and automation tools used today.

He later moved into the finance team, where he supported the Finance Director and developed a strong foundation in accounting. Through dedication and continuous development, Jacob is now AAT qualified and oversees the majority of the company’s day-to-day financial operations, including contractor payroll, credit control and management accounts.

More recently, Jacob has expanded his role further into operations, working closely with the Managing Director to support the wider running and performance of the business. He has also recently served as a Trustee Director of ProTech’s Employee-Owned Trust which saw him playing a key role in the company’s long-term success and governance.

Outside of work, Jacob is a loyal Watford FC supporter. He enjoys playing football and spending time outdoors walking his two dachshunds, Gerry and Rory.
