ProTech's first monthly newsletter

Welcome to our first monthly newsletter! We are excited to bring you up to speed with all the happenings here at ProTech Recruitment. We're having a busy month, and we can't wait to share all the juicy details with you.

We're not just about STEM recruitment; we want to bring you something of the personalities at ProTech. That's why we created a TikTok account to show a snapshot of some our people and bring our LinkedIn posts and static images of our team to life. Follow us on @protechrecruitmentltd to see us in action and get a glimpse behind the scenes.

We’ve also got some exciting news on the location front. We've moved offices to 1 The Waterhouse in Hemel Hempstead (HP1 1ES) which is based near to the town centre. Our new office might be more compact, but it's packed with personality! The team has worked tirelessly to make our new home comfortable, with the directors pitching in to decorate and furnish the space. We're thrilled with the results and it is really beginning to feel like home.

Just to add a bit more complication we took the decision last autumn to upgrade our CRM system to Vincere. This transition is due to complete this week and our team is eager to explore the new system's capabilities. It's an exciting step forward that will make our recruitment process even more streamlined and efficient. On a side-note we have also been operating using an EE mi-fi box, due to BT Openreach not yet having commissioned our fibre connection, which is making life interesting (read: ‘variable’) connection-wise.

Finally ProTech Recruitment is proud to be an Employee Trust owned, with all employees out of probation being beneficiaries of the Trust. We're thrilled to announce that we're coming up on our first anniversary of being employee owned, and to celebrate, we'll be hosting a presentation in the ProTech office on Thursday 27th April 2023 to update the team on the progress of paying off the founders as we move towards our ‘freedom day’. We're looking forward to sharing this with our team and continuing to move forward as a united entity, all pulling in the same direction.

As part of that annual presentation we've been busy selecting the winners of our annual awards. Our Consultant of the Year award is highly coveted and will be presented to the best of the best at our end-of-year update, having been being voted on by the rest of the team.

We can't wait to reveal the winners of the other awards and celebrate the team's hard work and dedication over the past year! We’ll announce the winners of the awards in our next newsletter.

Last but not least, we're excited to welcome Faheem Choudhury to our team in the Life Sciences department as a Recruitment Consultant. He's hit the ground running, and we're thrilled to have him on board. His positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in have already made him a valuable asset to our team.
