Overview

A specialised manufacturer of electronic and electro-mechanical products is looking for a Production Supervisor. The company specialise in high-value / low-volume products and the work is interesting and varied, with new challenges to solve every day. This opportunity would suit an experienced electro-mechanical person who is already looking after a small team looking for their next career move. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background coupled with excellent man management skills. There are good longer-term prospects to progress within the company.

Production Supervisor Requirements:

Must have hands-on experience in electro-mech assembly and wiring
Experience of using an ERP system to track progress of products in manufacture, manage material supply and report on productivity.
Used to working to business KPIs of on time delivery and quality in an ISO9001 business.
Able to manage a skilled work force (team size c 15 people initially).
Able to set goals for individuals and for teams
Managing performance of people
Conducting staff appraisals
Qualified to ONC level in electronics or engineering
Competent in use of Microsoft applications including Excel and Word for analysis and communication.
