This is a great opportunity for an Aerospace Technologist to join a world-class aerospace research consultancy. The business, who deal with both commercial and governmental contracts, test and develop new cutting-edge aerospace concepts for major blue-chip clients.
The Aerospace Technologist will support the development and completion of technology roadmaps with customers across the globe. You will be collaborating with engineers from a variety of institutes – both commercials and academic, so strong communication skills will be required.
In terms of knowledge, the Aerospace Technologist will need to be skilled in some of the following areas, ideally gained through work experience:
- Complex electronic and mechanical systems
- Digital wireless and wired communication
- Safety critical control systems and associated software
- System integration and component testing with advanced diagnostics
- Sub-system health & usage monitoring
The Aerospace Technologist will also have some experience leading technology and/or research activities, and have an excellent academic record in Aerospace, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.
You may have also worked in collaborative technology programmes with multiple partners, however this is not required.
