Job Title: Sales Representative (Bio-Processing)

Salary & Benefits: Up to £55,000 depending upon experience + Commission & Monthly Car Allowance plus Benefits package

Location: South East

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Representative (Bio-Processing) to join a leading Laboratory Technology Company.

The Sales Representative (Bio-Processing) will be working in the Bio-Processing market to focus on the Company's Biotechnology portfolio in Europe, focusing particularly on Research and Development laboratories in both Industry and Academia.

Sales Representative (Bio-Processing) Requirements:

* Degree in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related subject
* Already working in a Bio research company would be ideal
* Will consider scientists with a knowledge of the applications and market looking to move into a commercial role
* Ideally located in South East UK
* Degree in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related
* Demonstrate a proven track record of sales
* Experience with Bioprocessing associated applications is preferred
* Knowledge of bioreactors with sensing & control, microbial & mammalian cell culture systems would be an advantage
* Experience of instrument and project related sales
* Capable of engaging from hands-on/demo level to formal presentation level with customer operators, managers and purchasers
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to work efficiently and independently to accomplish project objectives
* Required to travel overseas to support international accounts or for training, trade show or conference purposes

Sales Representative (Bio-Processing) Responsibilities:

* Developing strategies to maximise European miniature Bioreactor sales
* Home and field based role
* To work closely with the Sales Director to increase Bioreactor platform sales
* Active development of new accounts through personal contacts and qualification of opportunities identified through web and related media
* Maintaining a sales action plan identifying current customers and new prospects with target sales value on a rolling quarterly basis
* Attending conferences and trade shows and maintain a professional network to stay aware of current industry trends
* Provide support to the marketing group to build the company brand in bioprocessing
* Helping generate marketing and conference material
* Maintaining a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with current bioprocessing trends, competitor products and attending scientific seminars and meetings
