Job Title: Hoist & Winch Technician
Salary & Benefits: Up to £35,000 Plus Benefits Package
Location: Feltham, Middlesex

You'll be part of the Hoists team, building, testing and certifying company hoists equipment ready for shipping to customers worldwide.

Hoist & Winch Technician Requirements:

LEEA Qualified is a distinct advantage but not essential
Willingness to train towards the qualification
Excellent attention to detail and always like things done the right way
Set high standards of workmanship for yourself and have a strong sense of pride in your work
Highly productive and enjoy the challenge of meeting tight deadlines
Enjoy contributing to and being part of a team, but are also happy to take responsibility for a task independently
You're agile and respond to the changing demands of the entertainment industry. You deliver - whatever it takes
You've got experience with lifting equipment and carrying out inspections in line with industry regulations
Detailed knowledge of LOLER regulations
Experience with electrical assembly, wire termination, crimping, and terminals
Experience in following detailed instructions and can use common testing equipment including multimeters, earth impedance testers and RCD testers
Experience of working in a health and safety critical environment and have a basic understanding of best practice health and safety precautions
LEEA Lifting Machines Power Advanced Programme is an advantageous qualification to hold

Hoist & Winch Technician Responsibilities:

Working as part of the Hoists team
Building, testing and certifying company hoists equipment
Inspecting and servicing hoist equipment
Certifying products ready for shipping to customers worldwide
Use technical drawings to assemble the mechanical and electrical aspects of our automation products
Building, testing and carrying out LOLER inspections on products
Responsible for producing and signing off relevant testing documentation and certificates
Assist the Stores team with the packing of products ready for shipping to customers
Responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy and safe workshop area and ensuring that your tools and equipment are in good working condition and stored safely in the right place
Adhere to the Company's Health and Safety rules and guidelines and make the Production Management team aware of any hazards you identify in a timely manner
Identify any problems or errors you encounter in the manufacturing of products to help make improvements and minimise errors in future
