Are you an experienced Project Engineer looking for your next opportunity? Do you have proven experience with low voltage switchgear? We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to work with a company who are growing - this role will report to the Engineering Director.

Project Engineer Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will support customers in the design and development of low voltage switchgear projects, including the production of electrical and mechanical drawings for customer approval.

Produce Bills of Materials for manufacture.

Candidates will be expected to follow new product introduction processes from feasibility to production implementation.

When required, you will meet with suppliers to ensure a cost-effective supply chain is established, as well as for project meetings, surveys, installation, commission, customer training, acceptance tests, maintenance and investigations.

Project Engineer Requirements:

Candidates will ideally hold HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Candidates must have proven experience in the function and manufacture of low voltage switchgear.

Experience with 2D CAD (AutoCAD preferred).

Good knowledge and experience of mechanical engineering and risk management.

Ideally candidates will have a strong understanding of BS EN 61439- Part 1&2.
