Raising over £200 for the Stroke Association, on Friday 26th February, Pro-Tech held an all-singing, all-dancing Bring Me Sunshine Party!
Challenged with creating an event that spurred the imaginations of everyone within the office, organisers Irma Walker and Jenn Clarkson certainly didn't disappoint, putting on a party spread that touched every corner. From food to cake sales and from raffles to fancy dress, no stone was left unturned in what was to be a roaring success for all involved.
Starting the day with a cake sale, raffle tickets and cakes were flying off the stands like, well, hot cakes! Previously warm and snug pockets were generously dipped into, as both the Pro-Tech team and neighbouring businesses - who deserve a special mention for buying into what we were trying to achieve - set the tone for what was to be a great day of celebration and fundraising.
To every coin chink chiming against the fundraising tins, the joys (or rather, horrors depending on where you stand) of a playlist made by the Marketing department ran side-by-side with some well-overdue drops of summer and bright beachwear.
Evidence of said drops can be seen here in one of our raffle winners - kudos to you Matt!
After a lunch enjoyed by all in the Pro-Tech offices, a raffle including prizes such as cases of wine and luxury foods took place at 2pm. With Matt Deaville (pictured above), and Barbara Horwood scooping the top two prizes, it's fair to say that there were some happy faces heading into the weekend!
If nothing else, the success of Pro-Tech's Bring Me Sunshine Party emphasised the power of collective spirit and togetherness, with members of both our own and other offices pulling together to contribute to a cause that's truly worth giving to.
