It’s Winter. It’s dark. It’s cold.
That is, until February 26th when Pro-Tech will be hosting its first charity event of the calendar year: a Stroke Association Bring Me Sunshine Party!
Igniting imaginations like twisted party-starters, event organisers Jenn Clarkson and Irma Walker are bringing ice cream stalls, food, drink, cake sales and a large serving of party music to Pro-Tech’s HQ in Hemel Hempstead.
On the February event, Walker had this to say:
‘We are really looking forward to starting our bid to raise a lot of money for the Stroke Association this year. Not only will it be a privilege to support such a worthy cause loudly and proudly, but it’ll also be great fun seeing everyone kitted out in their finest floral beachwear!’
She continued, ‘It’s a really lovely idea from the Stroke Association to bring two things that don’t often go together - summer and February - to inspire people into getting involved with the charity. Having seen the devastating effects of what strokes can bring first hand, the Stroke Association really means alot to me and I can’t wait to give something back to this inspiring charity.’
The Stroke Association, who have been working with stroke survivors and those affected by strokes since 1992, are promoting their Bring Me Sunshine Party as a nationwide event.
