ProTech helps design radical new products @ Winning Herts and Minds day.
Earlier this month, ProTech were pleased to support the first ever WHAM Winning Herts And Minds event, held by the University of Hertfordshire Business School and sponsored by Clock and Grant Thornton. The event saw groups of University of Hertfordshire and A Level students together with companies work in teams to develop a radical new household gadget and present their ideas to the other teams who then voted for the overall winner.
ProTech Directors Antony Cox and Roman Motyczak took part as members of 2 of the 9 teams participating. Nothing quite like a bit of friendly competition!
Antony’s team deservedly won overall with their idea of a high-tech transparent toaster that uses optical technology to monitor throughout, ensuring the perfect slice of toast every time. Roman’s teams idea of a drink vending machine for domestic use vending any hot or cold drink on demand and serviced by Amazon drones proved to be too radical a concept.
The winning team!
When these products come to a home near you in future remember; you saw it here first.
Thanks to WHAM for having ProTech for a great day.
