Our client required a Technical Support Engineer with a quick turnaround.
Detailed notes were immediately taken and the right questions were asked so that we could complete a detailed requirement specification, allowing us to later identify the correct candidates for the role.
Comprehensive searches produced several people interested in the role and after lengthy telephone screening calls, we invited eight contenders to our offices for personal interviews and assessment against our client’s specific requirements.
Six of the candidate’s details were sent to the client and, of those, five were selected for interview. The client provided a number of interview slots and five interviews were arranged by us to a very tight schedule, minimising the disruption to the business. Two of the five were invited to second interviews and these were confirmed for two days later. Both candidates were considered to be suitable for the role but as only one vacancy existed at the time, only one person could be recruited.
ProTech supplied the appropriate candidate, who successfully started work just over 3 weeks after receiving the initial client brief.
Business Services Manager:
“I would like to thank you for the extremely good candidates that you put to us for this position. We struggled to decide between the five applications, and had we had five positions would have offered them all jobs. However, as it is only the one at this time Mark was chosen. The second candidate who I would love to have offered a job to was Mohammed and I will keep in touch with you on this one.
Anyhow, once again thanks for your help on this and we shall be in touch next time a technical position is available”.
Mark, the successful candidate:
“After a while of being on the books of a couple of big agencies I was starting to feel a bit out of the loop. But then, I was approached by Matthew Deaville from ProTech. Their process was quite different from the herd, with a more personal touch. ProTech is not one of those big agencies that just want more and more people on their books; they actually care about the people they recruit. I found their service to be tailored to the candidate’s needs and aspirations.”
