About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join our client's quality assurance team on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong metrology and inspection experience, ideally within a precision engineering or aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and modify CMM programs to ensure accurate measurement of precision-engineered components.

  • Use software such as PC-DMIS or similar to create inspection routines.

  • Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process, and final inspections.

  • Analyse CMM data and generate detailed inspection reports.

  • Liaise with engineering and production teams to resolve quality-related issues.

  • Ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CMM Programmer within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

  • Proficiency with PC-DMIS or other CMM software (please specify).

  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to operate via an umbrella company.
