Job Role: Electrical Design Engineer

Salary: £44,000 per annum

Overview

The successful candidate will support the organisation’s range of electrical and electronic products, focusing on design tasks, technical troubleshooting, and documentation. The role is based on-site and involves close collaboration with internal teams and end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Create electrical schematics and general-arrangement drawings for single-phase control panels.

• Carry out electrical inspections and functional testing on customised panel builds.

• Provide support to field service staff, administrative departments, and workshop technicians.

• Analyse equipment failures and warranty claims to determine root causes and propose corrective actions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong working knowledge of single-phase electrical panel design.

• Ability to design layouts and specify all required components using AutoCAD.

• Competent with standard office software and able to manage tasks in a fast-moving environment.
