Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead and develop our clients engineering function. This senior management role is ideal for someone with a strong background in project and people management, particularly within a manufacturing or electronics environment.

Key Responsibilities as an Production Manager :

• Lead and manage all aspects of New Product Introduction, from design handover to full production release
• Own and drive project management for engineering deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes
• Ensure complete and accurate manufacturing documentation is created
• Identify, propose, and implement process improvements within the manufacturing environment to drive efficiency and quality
• Act as a key liaison between design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of new products into production
• Maintain strong focus on continuous improvement, lean principles, and operational excellence

Required Experience and Skills:

• Proven experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial engineering role within a factory environment
• Demonstrated success managing New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
• Strong project management capability, able to manage timelines, risks, and cross-functional coordination
• Experience working with manufacturing documentation and production readiness activities
• Knowledge of PCB/PCBA processes is highly desirable

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
