About the Role
We are looking for a highly focused and detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our growing team in Harwell. This hands-on role involves the precise assembly and processing of miniature medical devices within a cleanroom environment.
You will work with small, delicate components using microscopes and vision systems, supporting the production of high-quality, life-changing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble miniature medical devices using microscopes and vision systems.
Work within a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict cleanliness and safety protocols.
Complete batch records and production documentation accurately and thoroughly.
Conduct in-process inspections of your own work and verify the work of others.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control processes.
Safely operate assembly tools, equipment, and systems.
Assist with production planning in coordination with the Production Supervisor.
Maintain accurate inventory and material records.
Contribute to a safe and clean working environment.
Support health and safety practices across all production tasks.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Demonstrated experience assembling small or intricate components.
High manual dexterity and strong visual inspection skills.
Experience working under a microscope or with optical tools.
Experience in medical devices or electro-mechanical assemblies.
Comfortable working in a process-driven and quality-focused environment.
Desirable:
Familiarity with working to regulated industry standards (e.g., medical, aerospace, electronics).
Cleanroom experience is beneficial.
