SMT Operator

Location: Letchworth Garden City

Our client is a leading electronics manufacturer in the UK and looking for a SMT Operator to join their team

SMT Operator Requirements:

  • Operating and maintaining the solder paste machine
  • Operating and maintaining the SMT line (including programming and component loading)
  • Operating and maintaining the Reflow Oven
  • Operating the AoI machine (including programming and report handling)
  • Carry out manual PCBA inspection
  • Ensuring product serialisation
  • Maintaining department equipment to ensure fit for use
  • Adherence to relevant IPC standards

SMT Operator Responsibilities:

  • Provide reports and feedback to Technical Manager
  • Work within DSLs Quality Management systems
  • Offer improvements to current systems and working practices to ensure continual improvement
  • Work to a high standard
  • Maintain an organized and tidy work environment
